Thanksgiving weekend was another memorable one ... our first race meet!
The meets went exceptionally well and a great deal of fun was had by all. The turkey dinner was fabulous, as was the company. Lorna and Heather came down from Vancouver with Derbs and Odie. Odie's cut on his toe re-opened so he didn't finish the meet but Derbs finished it in style ... by finishing her ORC!
On the downside, I came home from the meet and promptly got sick. It's been a while since I've been ill and the germs seemed to be making up for lost time; it was almost a full week before I even felt human.
Dayton's annus horriblus continues and he will be unable to race in the year's final meet. Fingers crossed that he will be healthy for the January meet here in Sacramento.
Rogie is growing steadily; at 18", he's almost "legal".
